“Are you still coming over tonight? Esme, wanted to know.” “It’s not about hiding.” He took a deep breath before looking back at you and changing the subject. “I know…but I’m only here, you don’t have to hide.” “You know why.” He simply responded as he awkwardly looked away. “You don’t though?” you added as you pointed at him with your head on how he sat with his back against a trunk of a tree, safely under the shade. Your hands went down to the floor so that you could play absentmindedly with the grass. You looked over to him and smiled “Well yeah! I mean…we live in Forks, not exactly california.” You replied as you moved so you sat criss cross. Even if that imagine in his head was the time he remembered how you looked when you were waking up from a nap with hair that went every which way but rosy cheeks that was just a reminder of how alive and human you were. It was an imagine he didn’t want to ever forget, but then again most imagines of you were ones that he cherished no matter how you were. The sun kissed your skin, lighting you up to almost seem angelic to Jasper. You sat with your hands holding you up and your head leaning back with your eyes closed, so that your face could take in the light. “You seem to really enjoy sunny days don’t you?” He commented as he looked at how you sat in the grass. So you took this day as the blessing it was, trying to always stay in the path of the sun rays, unlike your friend Jasper, who took to a spot under a tree, trying to hide in the shade. It wasn’t often that the sun over powered the clouds, leaving you with a feeling that was indescribable. The sun was bright and warm against your skin, and you took in every second of it. Anonymous: I need protective Jasper more than I need air to breathe!! (Ps I love your writing 💙💙)
